At GAI, we understand the unique challenges faced by families impacted by autism, and we're here to support you every step of the way. GAI provides comprehensive services for children with autism while supporting siblings and parents through the challenges of everyday life.
Our approach is compassionate and evidence-based and in the privacy of your own home.
The Parent Programme
The GAI parent programme encompasses several key components:
At the beginning of the programme, we meet with you to assess your specific needs and those of your child. This allows us to customize the programme to address your unique requirements effectively.
During this phase, parents actively participate in an online programme that is specifically designed to educate them about autism spectrum disorder. The programme also covers support planning and provides effective techniques for behavioral management.
Initial Consultation
Online Program
As you progress through the online program, you are paired with a dedicated specialist who specializes in autism behavior and support. This expert conducts twelve virtual support sessions with you and your family. These sessions serve to reinforce the knowledge gained from the programme and offer personalized assistance in implementing the techniques you have learned.
Upon successfully completing all aspects of the program, you will receive a certificate acknowledging your achievement. Additionally, you have the option to continue your relationship with your support specialist. This ongoing support can help you implement your newfound skills and troubleshoot any challenges that may arise.

Effective programs encompass all aspects of an individual's environment. So, what does this imply for parents? An effective program cannot be solely dependent on the presence of a Behavior Technician during designated "sessions" with your family member. It should extend beyond that timeframe. If a family is equipped with the same skills and understanding as the Behavior Technician, the program can be implemented consistently throughout the day. This approach leads to enhanced effectiveness and reduces stress for everyone involved.
